Description
The Easy Gel Extraction, DNA Clean-Up & Concentration kit is designed for the gel extraction, purification, and concentration of DNA fragments ranging from 80 bp to 20 kb. It can efficiently recover DNA from standard or low-melt agarose gels in Tris-Acetate-EDTA (TAE) or Tris-Borate EDTA (TBE). Additionally, it enables the direct purification or concentration of DNA molecules from PCR amplification reactions or any other samples that may need purification. This kit can achieve a 50-95% recovery rate, depending on the size of the DNA fragments. This membrane-based system can bind up to 20 μg of DNA, offering a quick recovery in as little as 15 minutes. The purified DNA obtained using this kit is suitable for various downstream applications, including automated fluorescent DNA sequencing, cloning, labeling, restriction enzyme digestion, or in vitro transcription/translation, eliminating additional manipulation.
